Tallow Lotion

Tallow lotion comes in a pump bottle and is much thinner than the whipped tallow. It works great as a daily moisturizer and feels a lot like conventional lotion. 

To achieve this texture, water is added to the tallow and oil mixture. When adding water you need to include a preservative to prevent bacterial growth, as well as emulsifying agents to allow it to fully combine. This product, therefore, does contain a preservative known as Optiphen Plus. Optiphen Plus is considered a mild preservative and is often used in natural and organic skincare due to it's gentle nature.

Contains: Water, Beef Tallow, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Stearic Acid, Emulsifying Wax, Optiphen Plus.
